News: Opening of farmers markets greeted with higher expectations

The refrain “To market we go” is being heard throughout central Ohio as producers unroll their awnings for the summer season of farmers markets.

Market organizers hope for a period among the best that the region has seen in several years — particularly with fruit — because of a warm winter and drier-than-normal spring.
